You will report directly to the Head Chef and work with a prestigious, well-established hospitality group that manages multiple high-profile venues across major Australian cities. Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes with creativity and consistency.
- Assist in the management of kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service across both restaurant and function settings
- Lead and inspire kitchen staff to deliver excellence under pressure
- Maintain a clean and compliant kitchen environment aligned with food safety standards
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to manage food and labor costs efficiently
- Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
What We’re Looking For
- A driven and passionate chef with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong experience in high-volume venues including restaurants, cafes, or functions
- Diploma in Commercial Cookery and Food Safety Certification
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Clear communicator with a positive and professional attitude
- Must have full-time working rights in Australia
