 The Role

  • Manage all kitchen operations
  • Large focus on Social and Corporate catering
  • Lead and manage the kitchen brigade
  • Work closely with a strong Brisbane based management team
  • Oversee and ensure the smooth running of all kitchen operations, including
    • Kitchen Administration
    • Food and Labour costs and controls
    • Budgeting and forecasting
    • Health and hygiene
    • Staff management and recruitment
    • Assist in the creation of menus in line with modern food trends
    • Drive strategic business decisions for the venues

Essentials

  • Qualifications in Cookery – Diploma level preferred
  • Minimum of three years in a leadership role
  • Great communication skills and high level of organization
  • Function, hotel, restaurant and catering experience is highly regarded
  • Enjoy working in a busy environment with a true passion for cooking
  • A keen eye for detail and a positive and proactive approach
