Your Role

As a Function Chef, you will:

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes for a diverse range of events and functions
  • Support smooth kitchen operations from preparation through to service and pack-down
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and senior kitchen team to deliver consistently exceptional food
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and quality
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and presentation

As a Pastry Chef, you will:

  • Produce high-quality desserts, pastries, baked goods and plated sweets for functions and events
  • Contribute creative ideas while maintaining consistent quality and presentation
  • Assist with pastry preparation, service and kitchen organisation
  • Ensure all pastry operations meet food-safety, hygiene and quality standards
  • Work collaboratively with the wider culinary team to deliver memorable guest experiences

About You

  • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, Patisserie or equivalent relevant qualification
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a professional, high-volume kitchen, function or events environment
  • Previous pastry experience is essential for the Pastry Chef position
  • A strong eye for detail, quality and presentation
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and remain organised during busy service periods
  • Positive energy, a collaborative mindset and genuine passion for great food
  • Valid Australian working rights, ideally citizenship, residency or a full working visa
