As a Gold Licensed caterer, Fresh delivers a range of experiences to suit any brief from intimate dinners, corporate conferences, cocktail events, and grand banquet feasts.An exciting opportunity exists within our Sales & Events team for a talented and seasoned Event Sales Manager at The Fresh Collective Sydney. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Events, you will be responsible for managing and driving conversions, prospecting new business, and maintaining and growing our existing key accounts across venues in the Fresh NSW portfolio and in an offsite capacity.You will be able to demonstrate your ability to build strong, ongoing relationships and will possess the confidence and professionalism to represent The Fresh Collective at networking events, client entertaining and industry exhibitions. Your approach to sales is strategic and solution based. You are a lateral thinker, active listener, and clear communicator. You ask key questions, allowing you to anticipate client needs based on their desired event outcomes, recommend, and advise on suitable solutions, and ultimately provide a truly tailored and seamless experience, resulting in repeat business and a positive reputation. The details A strong background in sales and negotiation with a focus on prospecting and qualifying new businessBuild and maintain strong business relationships through networking and effective communicationPreparation and follow up of proposals and contract documents ensuring a 24-hour turnaround on all correspondenceHost sales presentations, site inspections and client meetingsMaintain database and sales activities within CRM systemProvide sales reports on outbound sales activities and lead handoversAssisting with the planning and execution of the sales strategyDevelop and maintain a robust sales pipeline Experience selling events in venues and offsite events About you Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a premium venue, catering or hotel environment  Proven experience in meeting KPI’s and budgets within an event sales environmentExceptional organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExisting relationships with key suppliers Outgoing personality with the ability to sell, negotiate and influence successful outcomesStrong customer service focus and passion for hospitality Team oriented with a positive and happy demeanour   Tertiary qualification in hospitality, events or similar discipline is highly desirable BenefitsThis role is predominantly a Monday to Friday working week, but this may change occasionally, depending on business requirements.Working with a fun and energetic team of experienced sales and event managersThe Fresh Collective supports a healthy work/life balance.The ability to make this role your own and working as part of an inspired and motivated teamYour hard work and achievements will be recognised and rewarded with personal development opportunitiesThe chance to work for a company who cares about people and the communityEasy access to public transport  AUD Australia - NSW Sydney Sydney 2000
