About the RoleAs an Event Sales Coordinator, you’ll be the primary point of contact for all enquiries, managing the Melbourne sales inbox and handling inbound calls, while supporting the sales team. About the Role

As an Event Sales Coordinator, you’ll be the primary point of contact for all enquiries, managing the Melbourne sales inbox and handling inbound calls, while supporting the sales team. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond promptly to inbound enquiries via phone and email
  • Qualify leads, prepare customised proposals, quotes, and booking confirmations
  • Coordinate event logistics, including equipment hire and venue communication
  • Assist the sales and events team with administration such as event sheets, menus, and documentation
  • Attend client meetings, site inspections, and select events as required
  • Follow up post-event to gather client feedback and foster repeat business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate event records and data entry within Momentus
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, venue staff, and suppliers to ensure event success
  • Assist with additional administrative and operational tasks to support smooth department function

About You

  • Prior experience in event sales and coordination with a focus on sales in a hospitality or a similar client-facing role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Experience using event systems like Momentus or Priava (highly regarded)
  • Professional, proactive, and solutions-focused attitude
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as required
