We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team in the main production kitchen located in Redfern. This is a permanent, full-time position within our catering team, working primarily in the production area.

The Role
- Demonstrate your culinary talents, passion and flair for an award-winning caterer
- Work closely with the Executive and Head Chefs to ensure the current quantities of food production in the kitchen.
- Ensure recipes are followed and that overall completion of tasks is at the highest of standard
- Supervise staff under guidance and ensure work is completed in a sage and competent manner
- Foster and encourage a collaborative work environment
- Practice correct methods of cooking, preparation, cooling, storage, cleaning and hygiene
About You
- Qualifications in Cert III Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Experience in a production kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion for cooking, and be open to learning new skills in the kitchen
- Supervisory experience
- Great work ethic and good attitude
- Valid full time working rights in Australia
