As ambassador chef to the Art Gallery of NSW, Matt has developed a great concept, specifically for the Art Gallery Restaurant. His love for quality, seasonal and locally sourced produce is the driving force of this food story.

The Role
- Annual Salary at $77,000 plus super
- 5-day roster per week
- Preparing exceptionally presented dishes, consistent in flavour and appearance
- Run the section or sections allocated
- Ensure food is served at agreed quality and speed of service
- Assist with functions
- Working with a large company with multiple restaurants
- Assist in managing the kitchen in the absence of the Sous/Head Chef
- Follow all food safety procedures and legislation
About You
- A motivated chef with a passion for creating excellent dishes
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, from busy restaurant and/or cafe
- Ideally certified in Commercial Cookery
- Punctual, self-driven and autonomous, whilst being open to direction and learning
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong work ethic
