The Role

  • Annual Salary at $77,000 plus super
  • 5-day roster per week
  • Preparing exceptionally presented dishes, consistent in flavour and appearance
  • Run the section or sections allocated
  • Ensure food is served at agreed quality and speed of service
  • Assist with functions
  • Working with a large company with multiple restaurants
  • Assist in managing the kitchen in the absence of the Sous/Head Chef
  • Follow all food safety procedures and legislation

About You

  • A motivated chef with a passion for creating excellent dishes
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, from busy restaurant and/or cafe
  • Ideally certified in Commercial Cookery 
  • Punctual, self-driven and autonomous, whilst being open to direction and learning
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong work ethic
