An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to join the culinary team at Melbourne Museum.
This is a permanent role (Monday to Sunday roster, working 5 days per week) in the Museum’s kitchen department. Be part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality culinary experiences for visitors at one of Melbourne’s most iconic cultural institutions.

Lead and manage your assigned kitchen section efficiently
Support the Head Chef and senior kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality
Assist in menu planning and adapting dishes as required
Participate in setup and breakdown of kitchen operations
Step up to assist in kitchen leadership when required
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
Minimum 2 years’ experience as CDP or equivalent in a high-volume or professional kitchen environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Thrives under pressure and brings energy and enthusiasm to service
Demonstrated ability to manage time and maintain consistency during busy periods
Valid Australian working rights (citizenship, residency, or full working visa)
