Casual Waitstaff - National Portrait Gallery

We’re looking for casual waitstaff to join our team at the National Portrait Gallery. You’ll be part of both the café and gallery events - so no two shifts are quite the same.

This role suits someone who enjoys being busy, likes working with good people, and takes pride in warm, polished service.

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering friendly, professional service
• Running food and drinks with confidence
• Clearing tables and keeping service flowing
• Working on the front counter when needed
• Supporting gallery functions and events
• Communicating clearly with guests and your team

You’ll fit right in if you:

• Have at least 6 months hospitality experience
• Can carry 3 plates and a tray comfortably
• Have barista skills (a big plus)
• Are reliable, well-presented and positive
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
• Hold a current RSA and Australian working rights
