The Role

  • Work on a 5 days working week between Monday and Sunday
  • Work closely with the Sous and Head Chefs to ensure efficient food production and quality control
  • Preparing exceptionally presented dishes, consistent in flavour and appearance
  • Run the section or sections allocated
  • Ensure the highest standards of presentation and quality
  • Assist in managing the kitchen in the absence of the Sous/Head Chef
  • Excellent career progression and development
  • Follow all food safety procedures and legislation

Essential Requirements

  • A motivated chef with a passion for creating excellent dishes
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, from busy restaurant
  • Punctual, self-driven and autonomous, whilst being open to direction and learning
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong work ethic
  • In possession of a valid Australian working visa
