Due to an internal promotion and strong growth in functions, the Fresh team in Brisbane has immediate vacancy for experienced  Function & Event Manager to join their front of house Service brigade. Work across a diverse variety of functions and events spaces, including offsite corporate events and festivals, where no two days are ever the same. The RoleAnnual Salary at $74,000 to $78,000 plus superManage all aspects of events across multiple spaces including offsite eventsDeliver exceptional client experiences across a range of functions and events including cocktail parties, conferences, and sit-down dinnersOversee all service-related aspects of the function from set up, through service, and pack downSupervise a team of experienced function waiters and bartendersBe the client liaison throughout the eventWork closely with the culinary team, keeping clear communication lines at all timesVery strong interpersonal skillsPrior experience as a Head Waiter or Function Supervisor desiredIdeally coming from a 5-star backgroundExcellent attention to detailA passion for executing amazing eventsPerform on the job training with floor and bar staff Your background2+ years experience in similar role, coming from well-established and fast-paced venuesPassion and an extensive knowledge of the food and beverage offeringPossess an eye for detail and a focus on customer experienceHave strong communication skillsSolid wine knowledge, including cocktail making , desirable.Hold a valid RSA and manual driving licence, preferredRMLV licence not required, but desirable About the company – The Fresh CollectiveThe Fresh Collective, operates a portfolio of cafés, restaurants and stores and provides catering and event services in a number of iconic venues across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane including The Museum of Contemporary Art, The Queensland Museum, Sydney Theatre Company and the Sydney Living Museums portfolio.
