The Role

  • Utilize your creativity to prepare and present exceptionally consistent dishes in both flavour and appearance.
  • Oversee the accurate preparation and presentation of all dishes at functions and events.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to further your culinary skills and techniques
  • Work with the Exec Chef to bring food and staff costs in line with budgets
  • Motivate and manage the kitchen brigade
  • Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Exec Chef
  • Follow all food safety procedures and legislation

About You

  • A motivated chef with a passion for creating excellent dishes
  • Striving to move to the next level
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, from large-scale restaurant, 5 star hotel or catering company
  • Punctual, self-driven and autonomous, whilst being open to direction and learning
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong work ethic
  • Impeccable communication skills
  • In possession of a valid Australian working visa
