  • Oversee and ensure the smooth running of all kitchen operations, including
    • Kitchen Administration
    • Food and Labour costs and controls
    • Budgeting and forecasting
    • Health and hygiene
    • Staff management and recruitment
  • Manage efficient food production and quality control for à la carte dining and functions
  • Keep in line with L’Americano’s reputable high standards with an already established menu
  • Be passionate and creative in future menu development
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Drive strategic business decisions for the venue

Essential Requirements

  • Qualifications in Cookery – Diploma level preferred
  • Minimum of three years in a leadership role
  • Strong background working in Italian style Cafes
  • Enjoy working in a busy environment with a true passion for cooking
  • A keen eye for detail and a positive and proactive approach
  • Proven ability to lead by example and foster a creative and organised environment where team members take pride in their work
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid Australian work rights
